Our Revival

A Quiet, Grounded Beginning

I’ve spent years working as a psychiatric nurse practitioner—listening closely, holding space, and helping people find steadiness during difficult moments. Over time, I found that baking became my own quiet ritual. Measuring, folding, waiting—small, grounding acts that asked me to slow down and be present.

The Biscuit Revival grew from that space.

CATHLEEN HANDKE, FOUNDER

Southern Biscuits
SHAPED BY LIFE IN THE MIDWEST

Inspired by the tradition of the Southern biscuit and shaped by life in the Midwest, this bakery is a return to simple ingredients, thoughtful processes, and food made with intention. Each biscuit and scone is crafted in small batches here in Nebraska, with care given to every step—from the way the dough is handled to the moment it leaves the kitchen.

This is not fast food. It’s not trendy.
It’s comfort, done carefully.

Our Philosophy

INTENTIONAL

Fewer flavors. Purposeful choices. Each biscuit and scone earns its place.

GROUNDED

Rooted in Nebraska.
Inspired by tradition, shaped by the heartland.

CARE-DRIVEN

Small batches. Calm rhythms. Baking as a form of presence.

The Biscuit Revival is an invitation—to slow your morning, to share a table, and to return to something simple and good.
