From Our Farm  and Friends

GOOD INGREDIENTS HAVE A STORY

At The Biscuit Revival, we believe knowing where our food comes from makes what we bake a little more meaningful.

Some of that story begins right here at home—with eggs from our own hens and herbs and peppers from our garden. Some begin just down the road with local beekeepers and Nebraska makers. And some comes from trusted producers we’ve intentionally chosen because we believe in the quality of what they make.

We love knowing the people, places, and stories behind the things we bring to the table—and sharing a little of those stories with you.

Our Farm & Garden

Many of our recipes begin with fresh eggs gathered from our own flock of free-range hens, fed organic Scratch & Peck feed and given plenty of room to roam.

Throughout the growing season, fresh thyme, rosemary, basil, chives, and jalapeños come from our garden and find their way into many of our savory recipes.

It doesn’t get much closer to home than that.

Our Local Beekeepers

Whenever honey is called for in a Biscuit Revival recipe, we proudly source it from local beekeepers Jason Maas and Steve Hanna here in Northeast Nebraska.

Their honey brings more than sweetness to what we bake—it brings a little taste of home.

Ingredients We Trust

For the things we don’t raise or grow ourselves, we choose ingredients we know and trust.

Our signature biscuits are made with Kalona SuperNatural Organic Grass-Fed Cultured Buttermilk from a creamery in Kalona, Iowa. We bake with King Arthur Unbleached All-Purpose Flour and White Lily Unbleached Self-Rising Flour, chosen for their quality, consistency, and dependable performance.

Good baking doesn’t need to be complicated. It simply needs a good place to begin.

A Cold Brew with Nebraska Roots

Alongside our biscuits and scones, we’re proud to offer 211 Cold Brew, brewed in Gothenburg, Nebraska and named for the Interstate 80 exit that leads you there.

What began as a high school FFA project for a local farmers market grew into a thriving Nebraska business with a story built around family, farming, and community.

Already cold brewed and ready to pour, we think it feels right at home alongside something fresh from The Biscuit Revival.
